Crown Amplifier Repair

The Amp Man provides board-level diagnostics, repair, and refurbishment for Crown professional amplifiers, including CDi, XTi, I-Tech, DCi, and other Crown professional amplifier series. Nationwide mail-in service is available from our shop in Greenfield, Massachusetts.

Rather than replacing an entire amplifier when a board-level fault can be repaired, we isolate the failed circuit, replace defective components, verify the power supply and output stages, and test the amplifier under operating load before return.

We regularly work on Crown CDi and XTi amplifiers used in installed sound, home theater, commercial audio, and professional systems. Repairs are verified with signal testing, power-rail measurements, output-stage checks, and load testing. The goal is not simply to make the amplifier turn on, but to confirm stable operation under real-world conditions before it leaves the bench.
